In my personal journey of faith, prioritizing God’s guidance in every decision has been transformative. By actively praying and reflecting on scripture like Matthew 6:33 – "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" – I’ve found clarity and peace during uncertain times. What stands out to me is that this practice isn't just about major life choices; even simple day-to-day decisions become meaningful when placed in God’s hands. The encouraging scriptures I often meditate on include Proverbs 3:5, reminding me to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." When fears and doubts arise, embracing verses like Isaiah 55:8-9 and Psalm 46:10 — "Be still, and know that I am God" — helps me stay strong and calm. Keeping a prayer journal has also deepened my spiritual walk, allowing me to see God’s faithfulness over time. Writing down prayers, worries, and the ways God answers them, reinforces my trust and reminds me I am loved, chosen, and protected. Whether you identify as a Proverbs 31 woman or simply someone seeking divine direction, making prayer the foundation of your decision-making can bring a warrior’s peace. It empowers you to overcome fear with faith and find strength in God’s promises. Remember, placing faith over fear is not always easy, but it changes everything.
