Thus, this therapy works best when shopping is fun and stress-free. If you ever catch yourself buying things on a bad day, it's okay—it’s a common coping mechanism. The key is to recognize when to stop and find other ways to nurture well-being, such as talking to friends, exercising, or simply relaxing.
