Omakase for <$100 option in SG ✨😍

You got to make a booking for this! 2nd time that I’ve been here for their Omakase and if you’re looking for an affordable, but still reliable option, this is the place to go 🌟

🙃 they have 1-for-1 promos and you’ve to key in the promo code found on their website (refreshes each month) during reservation for it to apply. I only found out about the promo after arriving the first time I ate there, and wasn’t allowed to enjoy the promo 😕

👉check out the 3rd picture to see the 1for1 menu and the 4th pic for their regular menu.

HONEST 💭: The regular $108 option was more filling than the promotion one (ofc) but since we went on a Thursday, after the Omakase seating, we enjoyed their salmon sashimi promotion in the main restaurant area.

👍Why I like it: Small, intimate room with only just 10 diners at one go and 2 chefs to serve. 💰 Price is so justifiable too.

Besides the main omakase sets, they feature generous 1-for-1 promotions that make dining here even more budget-friendly—just remember to apply the monthly promo code during booking to take advantage. From my experience, the intimate seating with only 10 guests at a time makes the meal quite special, allowing the chefs to focus on quality and personalized service. The menu ranges from starter sets to indulgent and premium options, catering well to different appetites and preferences. I also found the addition of salmon sashimi promotions on certain days a nice bonus, adding variety and value. Plus, the warm chef’s soup and carefully curated sashimi selection make the meal more satisfying. Look out for seasonal specials and supplement options like uni and chutoro that elevate the experience without inflating costs excessively. The list of sake and beverages is thoughtful, giving you a chance to pair your meal perfectly. In short, for those who want to enjoy authentic Japanese omakase experiences in a small, cozy setting, all while keeping the budget under $100, Standing Sushi Bar is a place worth booking ahead for an enjoyable dining experience.

Value for money omakase!
🤩 $115 for 11 courses, premium ingredients like Hokkaido Oysters, A5 Wagyu, Uni, and fresh sashimi is really value for money. Local chef, non-traditional hole in the wall spot. Definitely better than average for this price range, and would recommend the restaurant to non-Japanese food snobs!

Some meals surprise you. This was one of them. We walked into Sushidan Singapore not expecting much. We left quietly obsessed. The Nanairo Set at $29.90++ came with everything — Chawanmushi that was silky beyond reason, a chef’s ochoko-don, 7 chef’s choice nigiri including chutoro, a negito
