LEMA DUMPLING 🥟🥟(please visit when you come JEWEL)
found my favourite dining spot in JEWEL!!! this is located at B2 beside toast box. But beware of long queue during lunch hour and dinner hour as the shop is small and have limited seats.
This spot serves some of the best pan-fried dumplings in Singapore! Each dumpling is super juicy, and there’s even “soup” inside—just like xiao long bao. They come in a set of 10, and you can mix two flavours (we tried the original, chive, and cabbage).
And get this—the noodles are under $5 a bowl! The portion is on the smaller side, but still totally worth it. The noodles have a great chewy texture, and the sauce is spot on—spicy yet full of flavour.
The tofu is another highlight—just $2 for 6 pieces. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and even better when paired with their sweet sauce.
They also offer free-flow drinks and condiments (we couldn’t stop refilling the soy milk). Definitely a place worth checking out!

... Read moreWhen I first tried Lema Dumpling at JEWEL, I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of quality and affordability. Despite being a relatively small spot located beside Toast Box at B2, the place quickly filled up during lunch and dinner hours, so arriving early or being prepared to wait is key if you want to enjoy a seat.
The pan-fried dumplings stood out the most; each dumpling bursts with juicy broth, reminiscent of xiao long bao, but with the crispy golden bottom typical of pan-fried versions. Mixing flavors like original, chive, and cabbage gives a nice balance and variety within the 10-piece set. The dumplings’ natural juices and the thin, tender skin make each bite satisfying.
What’s surprising is the affordability of the rest of the menu. The noodle bowls under $5 are perfect for a light but flavorful meal. The noodles have a nice chewiness that complements the spicy and rich sauce, making it an excellent choice when paired with the dumplings. The smaller portion might not satisfy a large appetite alone but works well as a complementary dish.
Don’t miss the tofu—priced at only $2 for six pieces. It’s crispy on the outside while soft inside, and drizzling their sweet sauce enhances the taste wonderfully. I also appreciated that the shop offers free-flow condiments and drinks; the soy milk kept me coming back for refills.
Overall, Lema Dumpling at JEWEL is a hidden gem for dumpling lovers and budget foodies alike. The great taste, affordable pricing, and friendly service make it worth the wait during peak hours. For anyone heading to JEWEL, this spot is definitely worth checking out for authentic, juicy pan-fried dumplings and satisfying sides.
