🏡 Our Home, 2 Months In — A First Look ✨

✨ Two months into our new home, and the space is finally beginning to tell its story. Our living spaces, designed as a warm threshold for our guests, balance openness with intimacy, setting the tone before stepping into the private quarters.

We never had a fixed theme, just a mix of everything we love! Swipe through for glimpses of the textures, light, and details that make this space feel like us.

Every piece was chosen with intention, and more reveals are coming soon (and yes, we’ll be sharing our vendors + sources 😉).

Big love to our talented friend and photographer for capturing the house so beautifully.

... Read moreRenovating and settling into an HDB flat has been a truly rewarding experience for us. What we learned early on is how important it is to strike a balance between functionality and warmth, especially when you want your home to feel inviting yet practical. We didn’t stick to any rigid décor style; instead, we handpicked elements that resonated with us, which made the space more authentic and comfortable. For anyone embarking on a similar journey, considering the flow of natural light and creating cozy nooks can significantly enhance the feel of the home. Lighting, in particular, helped us set different moods across the living and private spaces. We also highly recommend working with friends or professionals who understand your vision — having a talented photographer capture the transformation can make you appreciate each design choice even more. Although our renovation is still evolving, sharing our source vendors and renovation ideas soon will hopefully inspire others planning their own HDB revamp. Taking your time to select pieces with intention is key; it’s these details that truly make a house feel like a home. We hope our experience encourages more homebodies to create spaces reflecting their unique stories.
