Cycle 4 Day 1: Arms&Shoulders {8.18.25}

#90daychallenge #workout #Fitness #selflovejourney #lemon8fitness

Congratulations! We have made it to Cycle 4!!!

Today is Arms&Shoulders day! Make sure to do slow controlled movements and use the weights you are comfortable with. Go up a weight if you want a little more challenge! If you want to do more reps during the interval, then use a lighter weight but remember to control your form to get the best muscle soreness.

I have included a cycle start journal prompt, before and after workout prompts as well.

Good luck!

Leave a 💪🏻 if you are ready and leave a 🔥 when you’ve finished the workout!

... Read moreThis Cycle 4 Day 1 workout emphasizes targeted exercises to strengthen your arms and shoulders, including Overhead Shoulder Press, Hammer Curls, Bicep Curls, Shrugs, Tricep Kickbacks, and Tricep Overhead Extensions. The session finishes with a 60-second Overhead Dumbbell Hold for endurance. To maximize benefits and ensure continual progress, reflect on key prompts before and after your workout: consider physical, mental, and emotional changes from the previous cycle, evaluate if your current weights still provide adequate challenge, and set goals for strength, endurance, or confidence gains. Additionally, assess external habits like nutrition, sleep, and stress management that support your fitness. Daily check-ins of energy levels and intentions help maintain focus and motivation. During your workout, prioritize slow, controlled movements to optimize muscle engagement and avoid injury. Adjust weights based on your ability to maintain form—use heavier weights for strength or lighter weights for increased reps with control. The inclusion of journal prompts before starting and after completing exercises fosters self-awareness and accountability, key factors in sticking to a long-term fitness challenge such as the #90daychallenge. Incorporating this mindful approach to training arms and shoulders not only improves physical strength but also supports a balanced mental and emotional fitness journey. Keeping track of which exercises felt strongest or most challenging helps tailor future workouts to your evolving needs. Ultimately, this combined strategy encourages consistency, self-love, and sustainable progress in your fitness goals.
