There is a quiet kind of faith that is tested not in abundance, but in waiting.
Many of us are comfortable trusting God when doors are opening.
When prayers seem answered.
When opportunities arrive.
When life moves in the direction we hoped.
But the waiting season asks something different of us.
It asks:
Can you trust God when the field still looks empty?
Can you trust Him when you cannot yet see the harvest?
A seed beneath the soil can appear forgotten.
Nothing seems to be happening.
No movement.
No visible growth.
No sign of progress.
Yet beneath the surface, life is already at work.
Perhaps we are not waiting because God has forgotten us.
Perhaps we are waiting because God is preparing roots before fruit.
We often ask God to change our circumstances.
But sometimes He is using the waiting season to change us.
To deepen our faith.
To strengthen our character.
To teach us dependence instead of control.
The world tells us that delays mean denial.
But Scripture often tells a different story.
Many of God's greatest works began with long periods of waiting.
If you are in a season where you feel unseen, overlooked, or forgotten, remember this:
The God who created seasons has never confused winter with spring.
Your waiting is not wasted.
And your story is not late.
Continue to pray.
Continue to trust.
Continue to walk faithfully.
Because sometimes God is doing His deepest work in places our eyes cannot yet see.
What has God been teaching you in your waiting season?
