Back to birthday weight, and my current lowest!
I’m so happy with my progress, so happy the scale is moving! So happy to just shed my body of this weight! While I was confident and beautiful as a big girl, and no one made me feel horrible in my weight or body, I feel better about myself! I’m able to do more things, fit in more seats (at the start of 2022 I flew on a plane and for the first time in my life I barely fit in a plane seat and barely got it buckled! Granted I did have a coat on, but it was a true wake-up call and it got my ass in gear!
As I reflect on my journey back to my birthday weight and beyond, it’s essential to recognize the milestones that come with weight loss. Losing weight is not merely about numbers; it involves emotional ups and downs and a shift in mindset. The journey encourages self-discovery, acceptance, and determination. I've learned to appreciate the little things, like fitting comfortably in airplane seats, which previously felt like a challenge. I also want to emphasize the importance of having a support system or community, as sharing experiences can motivate others facing similar battles. For those on a similar journey, setting realistic goals and celebrating small wins can add to the overall experience. This not only keeps you motivated but reinforces a healthier lifestyle choice. With the right approach, anyone can achieve and maintain their desired weight while enjoying life's moments, like birthday dinners and holiday celebrations. Remember, every step counts, and there’s always a plan to bounce back stronger!
