Reflecting on My Year of Intention
Reflecting on My Year of Intention
At the start of this year, my word was intentional. My goal was to approach every part of my life—personal growth, content creation, work—with clear intention. I wanted to be present, purposeful, and aligned with everything I was doing.
But somewhere along the way, I fell off. I got out of my routine, and though I didn’t give up, I felt like I lost the passion and drive that kept me going. Even with that, I stayed consistent and kept showing up, but it wasn’t with the level of intention I’d originally hoped for.
Looking back, I’m proud that I stayed committed, even when I didn’t feel like it. But this year taught me something important: it’s okay to shift, to lose momentum, and to just show up as you are.
For 2025, I’m not entering the year with big plans, huge dreams, or any pressure to make it “the best year ever.” No lofty resolutions or grand declarations. What worked for me this year was setting smaller, specific time-frame goals, and I’m carrying that approach into the new year.
I’m entering 2025 simply as me. No expectations, no extra weight. Whatever the year has for me, I’ll receive it with open arms. It’s not about being perfect or having it all figured out—it’s about showing up, staying true, and letting the year unfold as it will.
Here’s to growth, presence, and embracing life one day at a time.
