From personal experience, I found that embracing the parts of the saga I connect with, rather than memorizing every single detail, made my fandom journey more enjoyable and less stressful. Gatekeeping—when fans insist others must know every piece of lore before being accepted—can be discouraging and exclude newcomers. Instead, focusing on respect and shared enthusiasm builds a stronger, more welcoming community. Whether you love the movies, comics, cosplay, or just the general vibe, every fan’s passion is valid. For those interested in cosplay, it’s a wonderful way to immerse yourself without needing encyclopedic knowledge. Dressing up as your favorite character is a creative expression that anyone can enjoy. The key is to have fun and connect with fellow fans, not to compete or prove your fandom credentials. Remember, Star Wars has something for everyone. Don’t let anyone make you feel less than for enjoying it in your own way. Embrace the adventure at your own pace and let your passion shine without limits.
