For Honor: Rewind 114 #forhonor #lawbringer
Hey fellow For Honor warriors! I know a lot of you out there are looking to master the Lawbringer, and trust me, it's a rewarding journey. I've spent countless hours in the training arena and in real matches trying to perfect my Lawbringer game, and I wanted to share some insights into his moveset that have really helped me turn the tide in battles. First off, Lawbringer is a master of defense and punishing mistakes. His whole kit revolves around anticipating your opponent and making them pay for every wrong move. Don't expect to be a hyper-aggressive character; instead, think of yourself as a patient, unyielding wall. Let's talk about his basic attacks. His light attacks are decent for interrupting, especially the top light. But where Lawbringer truly shines is his heavy attacks, often referred to as 'Judge, Jury, and Executioner.' These are slow but hit like a truck, and can be chained. Learning to feint your heavies into a guard break or a light attack is crucial for opening up defensive opponents. I often find myself doing a heavy feint into a top light to catch people off guard. Now, for the bread and butter of Lawbringer: his parry and block punishes. This is where he truly excels. If you land a parry, you have multiple options. My go-to is often the 'Impaling Riposte' (heavy riposte after a light parry), which can carry an opponent into a wall for extra damage or set up an environmental kill. For heavy parries, a quick light riposte is usually safe and guarantees a bit of damage. And let's not forget the 'Shove on Block' – while it doesn't guarantee damage, it interrupts your opponent's chain and gives you frame advantage, letting you start your own offense or continue pressuring them. This is where I really feel like I can 'rally my team' by disrupting the enemy's flow. His 'Long Arm' is another iconic move. It’s slow and easily dodged, but if you land it, it’s a free heavy for you and opens up opponents for your teammates. I usually mix this in when opponents least expect it, maybe after a dodge or a shove, when they’re trying to recover. It's risky, but incredibly satisfying when it connects. For mix-ups, I often use my 'Shove' after a dodge. It's a fundamental part of his kit. From the shove, you can go into a light attack (guaranteed on hit) or a heavy attack (which can be feinted). Mastering this 50/50 is key to applying pressure. Don't be predictable; sometimes just letting the heavy fly can catch them if they're always expecting a feint. And for those moments when you need to clear minions or hit multiple opponents, his 'Zone Attack' is a wide, sweeping horizontal strike. It's good for clearing lanes in Dominion but can also be used in team fights if you're surrounded. In team fights, Lawbringer can be a disruptor and peeler. Use your 'Shove' and 'Long Arm' to create space, interrupt enemy attacks on your teammates, and set up your allies for big damage. I've had so many instances where a well-timed 'Impaling Riposte' or 'Long Arm' has saved a teammate from a gank, truly helping our 'TEAM RALLIED FOR HONOR' and turn a losing fight around. It takes practice, but understanding these core components of the Lawbringer's moveset will make a huge difference. Keep practicing those parries, shoves, and feints, and you'll be an unstoppable force on the battlefield. Good luck out there!
