Exhausted
What a busy day! I am exhausted from a combination of things. Still cleaning up from flooding and my mind is hoping things are better for everyone else and I hear so many People's difficulties. It will continue sadly. We are on another severe Weather watch for Thunderstorms. So Prayer Warriors let's move those Clouds and winds away!
I was so busy that's why you're seeing my breakfast/lunch/supper
LoL. It's my first meal today!
Fridays I prepare for Sabbath. Preparing is always a busy day.
A lot of my salad is from my garden. And I have been to the Post Office, did laundry, shopped, yapped, studied, posted, killed a few bugs...trying to procreate on my Potatoes. First time I ever had potato bugs. Hopefully last time. Fed birds and finally sat down.
Anyway, that's it. Resting before something else comes up...this is Retirement!🙂
Some days I wonder how I had time for work and raising Children. 🤔
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6
Have a Good Weekend!

Living through busy and stressful days, especially when severe weather like flooding and thunderstorms loom, can really take a toll on both body and mind. From personal experience, I’ve found that staying connected to nature and maintaining small routines helps me regain energy and peace. For example, gardening not only provides fresh produce but also offers a calming retreat amidst chaos. Seeing my salad come directly from my garden reminds me of the simple joys in life. Dealing with unexpected challenges, like potato bugs invading my crops, has taught me the importance of patience and adaptability. It’s often surprising how such small tasks, from pest control to feeding the birds, can become moments of mindfulness that ground me. Preparation for special days like the Sabbath adds a layer of busyness, but it also creates a rhythm and purpose that helps structure my time. I try not to rush through meals—having this post-busy-day first meal was a small but welcome reward. Spiritual encouragement plays a vital role in managing stress and exhaustion. Reflecting on verses such as Philippians 4:6 reminds me to release anxiety and lean into prayer and gratitude as sources of strength. Inviting community prayer warriors to help move storm clouds away invokes a sense of shared hope and support that uplifts me during difficult times. Retirement is often thought of as a slower-paced life, but some days it feels just as demanding as raising children or working full-time did. The key I've found is to honor my limits by taking time to rest before the next task or challenge arises. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, I encourage you to find those small, grounding moments—whether through gardening, prayer, or simply pausing to enjoy your meal. These little acts can replenish your spirit and help you face tomorrow’s busy day with renewed energy and calm.
