🦌Raspberry Full Moon Reflection🌕 Embracing Trials with Mercy and Justice🔥2026
🦌Raspberry Full Moon Reflection🌕 Embracing Trials with Mercy and Justice🔥As we gather under the glow of the Raspberry Full Moon, we find ourselves in a time marked by unrest, upheaval, and trials. This month, like the fire mirrored in the moonlight, reflects the chaos we see around us, fires raging, earthquakes shaking, floods devastating, and conflicts are tearing through Communities. It’s natural to question, “Why are these things happening?”
In these challenging moments, we are called to remember both GoD's Mercy and His Justice. The world is heavy with suffering, and as we navigate this turmoil, it’s essential to hold onto the Faith that GoD sees our struggles and offers His Compassion.
Reflecting on the Raspberry, with its dual nature, embodies this Transformation beautifully. Its Latin name, Rubus idaeus, translates to “bramble of Ida,” (My Auntie Ida was one of my first teachers) evoking tales of Sacred care and Sacrifice. Raspberries symbolically represent Kindness, Protection, and the Sweetness of Life. Yet, they also remind us that pleasure often comes with pain, as their delectable Fruit is concealed behind sharp thorns.
A Reflection on Kindness Amid Chaos🕊♥️In early Christian symbolism, Raspberries have been linked to the Blood of Christ and the Heart—serving as a powerful metaphor for Kindness and Charity. As we witness the rising Passions and frustrations of our World, especially for this coming Month!!
The blood-red juice of the Raspberry serves as a poignant reminder that while we may face trials, we also possess the capacity to Choose our responses. Each day brings a choice: to give in to fiery tempers or to embrace the Sweetness of Loving one another. Let the Moon remind you this month to Strive to stay Balanced.
This Moon is also called by some the Full Buck Moon🦌, named for the time when young male Deer begin to grow their new, velvet-covered antlers. This process of shedding the old for new growth is symbolic of the Transformation we All face. Just as the Deer must endure the pain of shedding their velvet, we too must confront the discomfort of Change and upheaval in our lives.
Last Month started as a Thunder Moon and for some the Thunder Moon continues(due to frequent summer storms) and the Hay Moon (coinciding with the summer hay harvest). The naming of a Moon coincides with what will happen in your area.
Conclusion: A Call to Action🎂As we sit under the Raspberry Full Moon, Buck or Thunder Moon, let’s reflect on our Choices. In a world filled with unrest, may we find Strength in GoD's Mercy and Justice, allowing that Strength to guide us through our trials. Let us Choose Kindness over contempt, Sweetness over bitterness, and Love over hate.
May the Moonlight inspire us to be more Compassionate, to lend a Helping hand, and to stand firm in Faith as we navigate the complexities of our time. Together, let us nurture the Sweetness of Life, even amidst the thorns.🌹
"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your GoD." Micah 6:8:
This verse emphasizes the Balance of Justice and Mercy that we are called to Embody in our Lives. With this Reflection, I invite you to consider how you can contribute to Kindness and Mercy in your Community this month. What actions will you take to embrace Love amidst the turmoil?

Reflecting on the Raspberry Full Moon and its symbolism can offer a powerful lens through which to view our lives, especially during challenging times. Having personally experienced periods of turmoil, I found that embracing the balance between mercy and justice—much like the dual nature of the raspberry fruit—helped me navigate pain with greater compassion. The notion that sweetness resides beneath sharp thorns serves as a metaphor for resilience. Just like raspberries hidden behind protective thorns, our moments of joy often emerge following hardship. The Raspberry Full Moon, known also as the Full Buck Moon, symbolizes renewal; the young deer shedding old velvet to grow stronger antlers reminded me that growth requires embracing discomfort and change. Incorporating this reflection into daily life, I focused on choosing kindness over frustration—even when the world seemed chaotic. Acts as simple as offering a listening ear, volunteering time, or practicing forgiveness enabled me to foster community and nurture faith amidst external unrest. Furthermore, the biblical verse Micah 6:8 resonates deeply, urging us to act justly and love mercy. Finding ways to apply these principles locally—whether through community service or personal relationships—can transform despair into hope. It’s been encouraging to witness how such small acts can ripple out, creating a gentler, more compassionate environment. Spiritual medicine, as suggested by the Raspberry Moon's symbolism, also relates to self-care practices. Herbal remedies like raspberry leaf tea are traditionally used to soothe and heal; similarly, nurturing our emotional and spiritual well-being helps sustain us through life's storms. This holistic approach—balancing inner faith and outward action—aligns well with the energy of the Raspberry Full Moon. As we approach 2026's Raspberry Full Moon, I encourage you to reflect on your own experiences of transformation. Consider how you can embrace mercy and justice in your community and personal challenges. Let the glowing moonlight inspire a renewed commitment to kindness, strength, and the sweetness of life, even when thorns are unavoidable.
