Sparrows Life 🐎
Sparrow is an 8 y/o gelding. He has been in my life for a year now and has been the best thing in my life.
We bought him out of an auction where I was out bid in several other horses. Being the smallest and skinniest horse there not a lot of people took a chance. Battling with another person I was able to win him. Taking a huge chance on him, almost nothing about his back ground. I loved him dearly and quickly became the barn favorite. He gained weight and his personality was nothing but like having a puppy. Loves being around people and very curious he picked up on things quickly. Now his attitude was just as bad as a mare and was very opinionated about work. But the second he realized he could run as fast as he could he fell in love. Quickly he built up his speed and strength and his confidence. Here’s where is takes the turn. He had an accident where he flipped on us and being a first time owner I worried sick he seemed off and was slipping and tripping I knew he needed to be checked. Took him up to Aiken to a sports vet and fully checked him. Thankfully X-rays came back clear but his MRI showed he had a small tear in his meniscus. So he will be resting. Hoping for a full recovery but he does not like taking life slow. So time will tell ❤️ thank you for reading about Sparrow my goofy boy!
