My Makeup Buy or Byes 🎀🩵

When it comes to my makeup routine, i love to incorporate both high end and drug store brands! but unfortunately there are some things that just didn’t work for me

•Skin tints / foundations

~ Rare beauty foundation (shade 140C) $30.00

~L’oréal lumi glotion (shade 902 Light glow) $13.98

~Elf bronzing drops (shade pure gold) $12.00

all of these have worked good for me, i haven’t had any problems when it came to them! i have found that when mixed with the milk hydro-grip primer, the rare beauty foundation does tend to separate

~Elf halo glow (shade 3 light medium) $14.00

when it comes to the halo glow, i think it’s a good product but it leaves a oily texture across my skin, at first it added a great shine but now it feels like it makes my makeup move too much

•Concealer

~ Covergirl true blend concealer (shade L100 Fair Porcelain $8.68

~ L’oréal infallible concealer (shade 325 Eggshell) $12.98

both of these concealers have preformed beautifully, i only have a small problem with the l’oréal concealer, it tends to dry down quickly and creases easily- but super full coverage!

~Elf brightening concealer $14.99

i felt like the applicator was a bit gimmicky, the brush would trap too much product and make the tip rock hard. also for a brightening concealer, it tends to highlight my dark circles.

•Contours

~Nyx wonder stick (shade Fair) $13.97

the only reason i put this in the buy was because of the highlighter. the contour broke when i tried to use it the first time and even then it made my makeup super muddy, if they potted the highlighter, i would buy it in every shade

~ Elf Halo Glow Contour (shade fair/light) $9.00

I love elf i promise!! but when it comes to the putty bronzer, it’s so had to pick the product up in a brush or sponge, i wish the pots were just a bit bigger because even with a dense brush, it’s nearly impossible. and for the beauty wand, i love the formula it melts right into my skin, but i wish the packaging wasn’t so messy! i waste so much product on the lid and around the rim.

•Blushes

~Elf camo blush (shade berry well) $7.00

~Rare beauty blush (shade encourage) $23.00

these blushes are my ride or die’s!! all of them melt beautifully into my skin and they are very very pigmented. also finally an elf product!! i feel that the elf rivals the rare beauty in terms of pigmentation.

~Elf primer-infused blush (shade always cheeky) $7.00

i know i know, more elf products, but for the wand, it’s once again the packaging that throws me off, it it wasn’t so messy i’d love it! as for the powder blush, it just doesn’t show up! i can’t find color anywhere.

•Mascara

~ Maybelline Lash Sensational Full Fan (shade black) $9.98

everytime i wear one of these i get so many compliments! with sky high being a tubing mascara it makes my lashes super long! and bts and full fan, they both coat my lashes and separate them perfectly! i like to mix the sky high and full fan for thick lashes!

~Physicians Formula diamond mascara (shade clear) $9.98

it’s a good product, but it made my lashes heavy and it takes a while to dry. after it drys it flakes a lot and i just hate the feeling on my lashes. but i found it works great as an eyebrow laminator! it keeps my brows in place all day!
