Being a mom is a unique journey filled with choices that sometimes diverge from societal norms. In this article, I'm sharing my personal parenting strategies that might invite varying opinions. I prefer dressing my child in mostly neutral, solid colors, avoiding cartoon prints that are often in fashion. My approach to emotional well-being means I provide comfort right when my child needs it without letting him cry out. I started solids immediately, emphasizing fresh, unprocessed food and avoiding salt and sugar until his first birthday. My belief is to introduce flavors gradually after he turns one. Furthermore, I include my little one in my daily routine, taking him wherever is permitted. It’s essential for me to have him close, as each moment counts during these early years. I also allow for screen time, particularly watching Ms. Rachel, which serves as a valuable tool for both entertainment and learning, giving me brief respite when needed. Additionally, I'm committed to extended breastfeeding while incorporating goat's milk formula as my supply fluctuates. He continues to nurse on demand at night, and I plan to allow him to wean naturally when he’s ready. Every mother's journey is uniquely tailored, and I invite you to reflect on your own practices. Share your experiences and connect with fellow moms, because it's in our differences that we find a community of support.

Why no prints or cartoons on his clothing? Is that your preference?
