Not Your Average Green Bean 🌱🫘

Here’s One Way to Pollinate Corn🌽

Pollinating before work 🌽 There are several ways to pollinate corn, but this is the method I chose. Corn sheds pollen over a few days, so I’d rather not remove the tassels. Instead, I gently shake the pollen onto paper and pour the pollen over the silks. Then I hope for some full ears of corn 🤞🏽🌽

Packed Corn= Better Pollination 🌽

Here’s my corn setup 🌽 2x4 raised bed, 3 rows planted close for better pollination. The wind knocked them over so I added 6 posts (3 on each side) and ran twine between each row to keep them upright and supported. #gardening #growyourownfood #corn #raisedbedgarden #gardeningtips
