Day 12 — God Is Still Working
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6

There are moments when progress feels slow and growth feels invisible. You may look at your life and wonder if anything is really changing. But Scripture reminds us that God’s work is not dependent on how we feel—it is anchored in His faithfulness.
God does not abandon what He starts. Even in seasons that feel quiet, unfinished, or uncomfortable, He is still shaping, refining, and strengthening you. What feels delayed is often developing something deeper within you—patience, trust, endurance, or faith.
You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are in process—and God is still working.

Where do I need to trust that God is still at work, even if I cannot see immediate results?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for being faithful to complete the work You have started in me. When I feel discouraged or impatient, help me to trust Your timing and Your purpose. Strengthen my faith to believe that You are working even when I cannot see it. I surrender my progress to You and rest in Your promises. Amen.
It’s so easy to get caught up in wanting immediate results, isn't it? I know I do. There are days when I look at my life, my goals, or my spiritual journey, and I genuinely wonder if I'm even moving forward. It feels like I'm stuck in neutral, or worse, going backward. But then I remember powerful bible verses about progress, especially that comforting truth from Philippians 1:6: 'He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.' This isn't just a nice sentiment; it's a profound promise. What I've learned, and what this verse really drives home, is that 'God is still working. Even when you can't see the progress.' That phrase from the image I saw really stuck with me. Progress isn't always about grand, visible leaps. Sometimes, it's the quiet, internal work that God is doing – refining our character, building our patience, or deepening our faith. Think about a seed planted in the soil; you don't see it growing for days, maybe even weeks, but beneath the surface, incredible things are happening. Roots are forming, preparing for what's to come. I often ask myself, 'Where do I need to trust that God is still at work, even if I cannot see immediate results?' And the answer is often in the areas where I feel the most frustrated or impatient. Maybe it's in a long-term goal that seems stalled, or a personal struggle that I thought I would have overcome by now. It’s in these moments that we’re called to lean into God's faithfulness, not our own perception of progress. He doesn't abandon His projects; He sees them through to completion. This isn't just about reaching a finish line, but about the beautiful process of becoming more like Christ. Another verse that often comes to mind when I’m feeling this way is Romans 5:3-4. It talks about suffering producing perseverance, perseverance producing character, and character producing hope. This sequence shows that even difficult, unseen periods are part of a divine process of growth. It's all part of God's 'good work' in us. So, if you're like me and sometimes feel discouraged because you don't see the immediate fruits of your efforts or God's work in your life, take heart. His timing is perfect, and His work is always underway. Keep cultivating that inner trust, keep praying, and remember that even in the quiet moments, 'God is still working.'
