In a small village, there was a boy named Ben, who had no good shoes, and his clothes were old, but he went to church every Sabbath and sang a happy heart.
One day there was a big event at the church, and the children had to bring gifts to God, and many of them prepared beautiful gifts with expensive bows on them, and Ben walked quietly on stage with a simple paper envelope inside...The "heart-shaped leaves" he cut himself from the tree next door.
Some of the children laughed, but the pastor took it with a smile. And said to everyone:
> "God doesn't look at gifts...But he looked at the giver's heart. "
Many were silent that day, and tears came down.
