🍊 A Day in Udo Island — Jeju’s Little Paradise

Spent the day exploring Udo Island and honestly i didn’t want to leave.

From scenic coastlines to cute cafés by the sea, every corner is a photo spot. Took the e-bike around the island, stopped for peanut cream latte, tasty cakes, and just soaked in every moment 🌾

Udo island stole my heart 💙

Definitely a must-visit when in Jeju and i can't wait to go back again!

... Read moreIf you're planning a trip to Jeju, I highly recommend making Udo Island a part of your itinerary. One of the best ways to explore this small, picturesque island is by renting an e-bike or scooter, which makes it easy to cover more ground while enjoying the fresh sea breeze. The ferry ride to Udo Island is a scenic bonus that sets the tone for the day. Once there, besides the beautiful coastlines and photo-worthy spots, be sure to try local treats like peanut cream lattes and fresh cakes that you can find at the quaint cafés scattered around the island. For those wondering about things to do on Udo Island beyond touring, you can also check out the famous Seobin Baeksa white sand beach, or sample fresh seafood at local markets. Since the island is quite walkable, you can combine leisurely strolls with cycling to soak in its laid-back atmosphere. Safety is generally good on Udo, but if you rent scooters, make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules to avoid accidents. The island’s quiet roads make for a relaxed ride, perfect for anyone looking to escape the busier parts of Jeju. Overall, Udo Island offers a perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and local culture. It easily stole my heart, and I can’t wait to go back myself. Whether you’re after beautiful landscapes, delicious snacks, or an easy day trip with fun activities, Udo Island has something special waiting for you.

Almost couldn’t rent this cute scooter!
There were many reviews on social media regarding rental of this electric scooter. Many mentioned that having an IDP with car license do not qualify for scooter rental. But I manage to find 1-2 reviews saying that they manage to rent them without the right license. So here I go, taking my chances a

✨MUST VISIT✨ place in Jeju!!
If you’re heading to Jeju, do NOT skip Udo Island. Just a 30-minute ferry ride away, it’s perfect for a day trip. We rented a scooter for 3 hours to explore the island. Even though it’s small, 3 hours felt a bit rushed since we kept stopping along the way. We arrived around noon, which I wouldn’

Favorite Cafe in Udo Island 🥜
This café was such a pleasant surprise 🥹 I had the best peanut cream latte — rich, nutty, not overly sweet, just perfect. MUST ORDER! Their cheesecake? OMG DAMN GOOD. Creamy, smooth and honestly café-quality done right 🍰 But the real highlight… the sea view 🌊 Endless shade of blue, sea bre

My first time in Jeju Island and definitely not my last. All locations are easy to get to if you’re driving, and yes, renting a car is still the best way to explore this island 💌 #jejuisland #jeju #southkorea #korea #lemon8travel

Jeju Recommendations no one asked for- Jeju East:
1) Airport Car rental from Orcar at least 30% cheaper than Lotte. 2) Waking up at 430am and taking 1 hour drive to UNESCO “Sunrise Peak” was worth it. Reached at 6am and everyone was already rushing to the top. Read that the climb was about 30min. I may or may not have reached the top in 10min.
