1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a small round pan (6–8 inches) or a mini cake pan.

2. In a bowl, whisk the egg and sugar until slightly pale.

3. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.

4. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth.

5. Add a tiny amount of pink food coloring for a soft pastel color.
