ive tried huggies🤢, pampers, and now millie moon! i was gifted a case of millie moon at my baby shower, and i wasnt able to use them til now. but i LOVE them! not only are they a great price (about 20 cents per diaper @ size 1) they are also great quality and cute!
Pros:
⭐️cute as hell! i mean look at those, and NO characters! (if you care about that stuff)
💰CHEAP, since theyre not paying for licensing
😍 soft soft soft inside and out!!
⭐️no blow outs or leaks, well so far.
👍long wear approved. my baby wears the same diaper for almost 12 hours with no leaks
🦉different design & color every size!
Cons:
⭐️not the best for chubby babies, little give in the waist band so you may need to size up. compared to your pampers or huggies
‼️only at target, while i love target, its not accessible to everyone
👎lower count cases so you have to go to the store more often (this one bothers me the most)
... Read moreI know the diaper hunt can feel endless, especially when you're looking for that perfect balance of quality, comfort, and value. After feeling a bit overwhelmed by the usual suspects like Huggies and Pampers, getting a case of Millie Moon diapers at my baby shower was a game-changer – though it took me a while to actually try them! Now that I have, I'm genuinely impressed, and I want to share even more insights to help you make an informed choice.
Let's talk about the feel. When the OCR mentioned 'Luxury Diap' and 'BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED,' it really resonated with my experience. These diapers truly live up to the hype in terms of texture. They're incredibly soft, both on the inside against your baby's delicate skin and surprisingly plush on the outside. This isn't just about feeling nice; it contributes significantly to comfort, preventing chafing and irritation, especially for babies with sensitive skin. The material feels breathable, which is crucial for preventing rashes, a common concern for many parents.
Regarding sizing, this is a big one, especially if you have a little one on the chubbier side. As I mentioned, Millie Moon diapers can run a tad snug around the waist compared to some other brands. For my baby, who isn't super chunky but definitely has those adorable rolls, I found myself considering sizing up earlier than I would with, say, Pampers Swaddlers. If your baby is right at the cusp of a size range or has thicker thighs/a rounder belly, don't hesitate to go up a size. A slightly looser fit is always better than one that's too tight, risking discomfort and potential leaks. It's all about ensuring that snug-but-not-too-tight fit around the legs and waist.
For parents considering Millie Moon for newborns, while my experience started at Size 1, the qualities I've seen make me confident they'd be great for tiny tots too. The softness is paramount for newborn skin, and their excellent absorbency would be ideal for those frequent changes. Look for the umbilical cord cut-out if you’re buying true newborn size – a common feature in quality newborn diapers that ensures comfort for healing belly buttons.
One of the biggest 'pros' for me, which the OCR also highlighted with 'look how cute!' and mentioning the bear and leaf designs, is the aesthetic appeal. Each size truly does come with a different, adorable design and color scheme. It's a small detail, but it adds a touch of joy to diaper changes. No loud cartoon characters, just tasteful, understated patterns that feel really special and contribute to that 'luxury' feel without the luxury price tag. I particularly loved the bear and leaf designs – so sweet!
Finally, let's address availability. The biggest 'con' for me is that Millie Moon is primarily a Target exclusive. While I love my Target runs, I understand it's not convenient for everyone, and it does mean you can't just pick them up anywhere. My tip? Keep an eye on Target's app for sales and consider buying in bulk when they're discounted. Also, be aware of the lower count cases – you might find yourself needing to restock more frequently than with other brands, so planning ahead for your Target trips or utilizing their drive-up service can save you a headache. Despite this, for the quality and performance you get, I personally find those extra trips worth it. My baby has been completely blowout and leak-free, even during super active playtimes and those crucial overnight stretches, making them a reliable choice for extended wear.
Honest and Millie moon are the top brands imo, I love honest diapers for newborns but not so much when baby is a little older but they have the best wipes hands down and love how soft MM diapers are
