Replying to @nex 🫶 Going viral on tik tok, let’s talk about my mindset on it and my personal experience with being a creator who had to rebuild myself and everything I was doing over the last year/Still still doing cause I still am healing.
This is my thought process of wanting to make art and also having to work with an algorithm that’s ever changing.
Delayed Gratification is the word of the day!
Would I love to go viral? Yes 100% because It would help us create more and even better and bring more stability to what we are doing and more people see our art that we worked hard on, which feels good.
Is going viral my only goal? No because I don’t want it to be the end goal of what Im doing and focusing only views can effect how you see your content. I love to bringing these drawn characters we love so much to real life and the way I see them and retelling there stories that I connect to and love so much.
The views and videos doing well it’s the bonus of what I get to do.
My end goals is to out edit myself and share stories that I care and relate to, not views or vitality BUT if there was more views and a chance to going viral, it would help us continue to create and create better. I just have to make the choices of going with the trends in my own ways which can be difficult to keep up on tik tok or to just do my own things and hope that the algorithms actually show it to people.
I’m on a creation journey to bring stories to life ;my own and the ones I watch, relate to and love, things just dont happen over night but everything I do and make is a step forward to more stability, creation opportunities, and reaching my goals.
