My First Time Cooking Thanksgiving Dinner
This year is a special one. I will be cooking an entire Thanksgiving meal for the very first time. I’ve helped here and there over the years, but I’ve never taken on the whole menu myself…so I’m leaning all the way in and planning it out like the Type A holiday woman I secretly am.
I pulled together recipes that feel cozy, classic, and doable. I’m going with a mix of slow cooker help, easy bakes, and dishes I KNOW my family will love. Honestly? I’m excited. A little nervous. But mostly excited.
Here’s what’s on my menu this year:
• Slow Cooker Turkey Breast and gravy (because if anything can save me, it’s the crockpot)
• Homemade Dinner Rolls
• Green Bean Casserole
• Cranberry Sauce
• Pumpkin Pie
• Stuffing
• Onion Tarte Tatin (the wildcard!)
• Mashed potatoes
Now accepting all good vibes and beginner-friendly hosting energy. If you’ve cooked Thanksgiving before, what’s your must-know tip?
