Let’s talk about it.

When I first started my wellness journey I had unlearn so many things. I knew I had to really learn what my body needed if I was going to lose the weight and keep it off!

I learned that carbs are your friend not the enemy.

The enemy is how much to what you’re eating.

It’s the lack of water. The lack of movement.

I learned how much energy (food) my body needed and tracks what I ate. Do I still track today now that I’m at my goal weight & maintaining.. no! But learning to track my food taught me about portions.

I learned about cortisol. I learned about inflammatory oils. I learned about the importance of real food and protein. I learned the importance of balancing protein , fat & carbs in one plate for better digestion. I learned a lot. I also learned the power of walking. Walking is a fat burning machine of an exercise.

Don’t think you have to go to the gym to lose weight. I wasn’t confident to step foot in a gym at my heaviest. I get it.

After getting the same stories and questions from you guys I put all my knowledge into a wellness guide. If click on my bio on my page and scroll down you will see it. It saves you the hours of research and guessing because it’s all there.

Meals. Snacks. Hacks. And so many videos of me talking you as if we’re friends on facetime.

One of the biggest breakthroughs for me was realizing that 'dieting' isn't sustainable. It's about a lifestyle shift. That's why you see a mix of foods in my photos – from yummy breakfast bagels with eggs and bacon to balanced salmon and veggies, and yes, even some tacos and fries! It’s all about balance and learning how to incorporate foods you love into a plan that works for your body. I used to think I had to cut out everything good, but my wellness guide taught me how to make conscious choices and enjoy food without guilt. For example, those chicken and veggie wraps? A game-changer for a quick, satisfying meal. And who knew chicken fried rice or even a small chicken pizza could be a part of a weight loss journey when made mindfully? It's about understanding portions and how to make your plate work for you. The journey to feeling 'fab' isn't tied to a specific age, but it's definitely about building healthy habits that last a lifetime. I often hear from women who feel like their bodies are betraying them as they get older, but I've found that consistency in movement, proper hydration, and nourishing real food can make you feel vibrant and strong at any age. My walking routine became my sanctuary, not just an exercise. It boosted my mood and helped me burn fat without the intimidation of a gym. It's about finding movement you genuinely enjoy, whether it's walking, dancing, or even just stretching, to keep your body feeling agile and energetic. If you're feeling stuck, remember this: small changes lead to big results. Focus on adding lean protein to every meal – like that salmon, or the shredded chicken in tacos and wraps. Don't fear healthy fats or carbs; just learn about portions and quality. Hydration is crucial, and movement doesn't have to be extreme. Even a daily walk can make a profound difference in both your physical and mental well-being. My guide, which I poured all my learnings into, breaks down how to make these changes practical and enjoyable.
