FAVORITE EXERCISES TO BUILD BOULDER SHOULDERS

These 3 exercises have been my go-to Shoulder exercises to build nice strong shoulders and they’ve never let me down..

First one is one I’ll never ever skip and that is Seated Dumbell Shoulder presses!

There’s a reason everyone does these, they work. I do 3 sets until failure.

Next up is incline Front raises.

I’ve recently been loving these, they’re verrrrry humbling. Use a lighter weight than you think;)

I do 3 sets around 12 reps.

Lastly is standing front raises.

Engage your core to avoid using momentum and swinging.

Control the weight as it comes down.

I do 3 sets of usually around 10-12 reps.

Save for your next upper body day!

... Read moreBuilding boulder shoulders requires a targeted approach to training. The exercises highlighted—Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Presses, Incline Front Raises, and Standing Front Raises—are favored for their effectiveness in engaging the shoulder muscles comprehensively. Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Presses help build strength and stability, focusing on the deltoids while also engaging the triceps. To maximize results, use a weight that challenges you and perform three sets to failure, as this promotes muscle growth. Incline Front Raises are fantastic for targeting the anterior deltoids and require discipline to maintain proper form with lighter weights, emphasizing control over momentum. This can significantly improve shoulder endurance and flexibility over time. Finally, Standing Front Raises engage your core, providing a functional benefit that enhances overall stability. Ensuring that your movements are slow and controlled is vital for preventing injury and maximizing muscle engagement. Together, these exercises create a powerful shoulder workout routine. Incorporating them into your training regimen will not only improve your shoulder strength but also enhance your overall upper body aesthetics. Make sure to combine these exercises with adequate rest, recovery, and proper nutrition to see the best results in your fitness journey.

The incline front raise looks very humbling. I’ll def. have to try these I’m wanting to add more than just shoulder press to my routine.
