🌸 A Lesson in Courage (Mariah’s First Class) 🌸
The forest was quieter than usual.
Mariah stood barefoot at the edge of the clearing, her hands clutching the hem of her tattered dress. She had danced in secret for so long... but today was different. Today, someone had invited her.
Her name was Alessandra.
A ballerina turned teacher with kind eyes and a voice like music.
She had found Mariah one morning twirling between the trees, her steps wild but full of wonder. And instead of correcting her... Alessandra had smiled.
“Would you like to come dance with me?” she’d asked gently.
Mariah had never been invited anywhere before.
Now, as she stepped through the studio door—a little forest girl with wild hair and no shoes—her heart beat faster than any rhythm she knew.
Alessandra greeted her like magic always had a place waiting.
There were mirrors and music. Ribbons and soft slippers. Other girls with bows in their hair. But Alessandra didn’t rush her.
She knelt to Mariah’s level and whispered,
"It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being brave enough to begin."
And with that, Mariah stepped onto the floor.
Her first plié was wobbly. Her spin was shy. But the smile on her face...
It was brighter than any chandelier.
✨ Because sometimes, it only takes one person to say,
"You belong here."
🩰 Like or comment if you believe in opening doors for little dreamers, no matter where they come from. Let's dance with kindness and lift each other higher.
