A Course In Miracles Lesson 68

Love holds no grievances.

🌿 I am learning that holding onto a grievance is a way of denying who I am.

When I hold a grudge against the system, the past, or even myself, I am believing I am a body with a history instead of the Self God created.

Grievances make separation seem real and convince me I am fearful, angry, and alone.

No one who dreams of hatred can know the peace of their Source.

I want to discover how I would feel without these weights.

I see now that I have cherished grievances as a way of defending an identity that was never true.

But forgiveness is not weakness.

It is the release of what never belonged to me.

When I forgive, I remember who I truly am.

Today I am willing to lay these thoughts down because I want peace more than I want to be right.

I am remembering that I am safe, and because I am safe, I no longer need to attack.

When I let all my grievances go, I will know I am perfectly safe.

Love holds no grievances.

Forgiveness, then, is not about weakness or condoning harmful actions; it is an intentional release of what never belonged to me. It is liberating the mind from false beliefs that keep us disconnected and fearful. When I adopt this mindset, it opens space for empathy and understanding rather than judgment and isolation.
