Scrambling to create jobs in the AI economy.

3/4 Edited to

... Read moreThe rapid rise of AI technologies has sparked widespread debate about the future of work, with many fearing that automation might lead to mass job displacement. However, from my own experience and observation, AI does not have to be a job killer. Instead, it can serve as a powerful tool to help create new employment opportunities and reshape the job market positively. One important perspective I've gained is that AI should be seen as a collaborator rather than a competitor. When used thoughtfully, AI can streamline repetitive and mundane tasks, freeing humans to focus on more creative and strategic roles. For example, AI-driven data analysis can significantly enhance decision-making processes in industries such as healthcare, finance, and education, creating demand for professionals who can interpret and apply AI insights. Additionally, AI development and maintenance have generated a surge in specialized jobs, from machine learning engineers to AI ethicists and trainers. These roles did not exist a decade ago but are now critical in supporting AI systems. Moreover, sectors like anime, movie, and music production—tags related to this discussion—are increasingly integrating AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency, opening niche jobs for digital artists, animators, and sound editors skilled in AI applications. The key takeaway is the mindset around AI needs to shift from replacement to augmentation. Investing in education and training programs that equip workers with AI-related skills is crucial. This approach can help individuals transition into emerging roles created by the AI economy, ensuring more inclusive growth. Overall, AI presents a unique opportunity to rethink job creation by fostering innovation and collaboration between humans and machines. With the right policies and community efforts, AI can truly help create more jobs, not fewer.

Is visiting the Dolomites really that expensive?
The answer sadly is…yes if you want to conquer all the famous tourist attractions during high season in summer 🥺 the chairlifts/cable cars and parking can add up to quite a lot - for example, reserving a parking space at Tre Cime for the hike is 40 euros (that is about 60 sgd), which is essenti

Busan (easy/moderate) Trail - 2.5hrs
Throwback to my solo Busan trip in 2025! I went on a solo hike via the Igidae Coastal Trail —about 4.7 KM— took me roughly 2-2.5 hours. I started from Oryukdo Skywalk, and I highly recommend this route as starting from Yongho Starlight Park might be tougher with more stairs to climb. Wen
