One Pot Lasagna Soup
I remixed several recipes out there to make it my own. Here is the recipe I used and then I’ll tell you some alternatives.
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 lb Italian sausage
• 2 tsp onion powder*
• 2 tsp minced garlic*
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper
• 2 tsp flavor god pizza seasoning*
• 2 tsp flavor god Italian zest*
• 1 carton chicken or beef stock
• 1 jar pasta sauce
• 1 c heavy cream
• 1 heaping spoon of ricotta cheese
• 1 box lasagna noodles (oven or regular)
• 1 c grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 block cream cheese*
Brown meat and then season. Pour in the pasta sauce and stock and bring to a boil. Add heavy cream and ricotta cheese. If adding cream cheese, do it now. Break apart noodles and cook until tender. Once cooked, add in grated parm and mozzarella cheese.
* You can use onions and garlic instead of seasonings. Add any Italian seasonings that you enjoy. I actually measured with my eyes, but most recipes out there used around 1-2 tsp each. I used cream cheese for a thicker soup, but it’s completely optional.
