Trying to find myself again after having a baby.

After birthing my blessing and having the opportunity and joy of being a mother, it does come with its ups and downs all the time constantly. You obviously need to attend to your baby 24/7 but in between you want to grasp as much alone time as you can to keep yourself sane and get back to your old healthy habits before having a baby. Having a child doesn’t mean that it’s “hell” as others may define it because at the end of the day you have someone to care to and reciprocate their love to you in their way of showing it to you. I hope other mothers out there understand what I’m trying to say and that they’re not alone and they’re seen.

... Read moreThe transition into motherhood can be overwhelming, yet it’s essential to prioritize self-care to navigate these changes. Finding moments of solitude helps mothers reconnect with their identities and recover their mental wellness. Embrace small steps towards re-establishing your pre-baby routines; it’s about progress, not perfection. Engage in activities you love, such as reading, exercising, or pursuing hobbies. Joining support groups or connecting with fellow mothers can also provide invaluable emotional support. Remember, while your life has changed dramatically, it’s possible to find a new balance that incorporates both motherhood and personal fulfillment. Sharing experiences with others can foster a sense of community, reminding mothers that they are not alone on this journey. Celebrate each small victory as you reclaim your sense of self, understanding that the love you give to your child can coexist with love for yourself.
