Buffet in a dim sum trolley 🤤
Brunch at Summer Hill just hits different ☀️🥐
They do a Friday and weekend brunch buffet, but what really sets it apart is how everything is served. Instead of walking up to a buffet line, the dishes are rolled out one by one on a trolley straight to your table. You get to try one of every dish first, then decide which ones you want seconds of. No guessing, no overloading your plate too early.
In total, they serve 11 savoury dishes, including starters and mains, followed by 2 desserts and shaved ice to end on a sweet note. It’s generous but still feels paced and intentional.
The menu is inspired by different regions of France and changes every few months, so there’s always something new to look forward to.
Cosy vibes, French flavours, and brunch served tableside. Perfect for slow mornings that turn into long, unhurried afternoons. 🇫🇷✨
Thank you Summer Hill for the invite!
If you've ever been to a conventional buffet, you know how overwhelming it can be to pile your plate high without knowing if you'll enjoy everything. Summer Hill's innovative approach to the French trolley buffet completely changes that experience. Each dish is brought to your table on a beautifully presented trolley, allowing you to sample small portions before deciding if you'd like more. This makes the meal feel personalized and unrushed, which is perfect for a leisurely brunch. From my visit, I was especially impressed by the variety and quality of dishes – from tender beef stew to aromatic Singaporean-style poached chicken rice, a delightful fusion nod within a French menu. The careful plating and presentation elevate the dining experience. The beautifully executed desserts and refreshing shaved ice with various syrups provided a sweet ending. For those curious about the cost, the buffet is priced at around $79++ per adult, available on Fridays through Sundays. The setting in Orchard’s Claymore Connect offers a warm and cosy atmosphere that enhances the French flavours and the overall brunch vibe. If you love French cuisine and want a buffet experience that combines quality, variety, and a novel service style, Summer Hill’s French trolley brunch is absolutely worth trying. It’s ideal for slow, relaxing mornings that you want to stretch into long afternoons of good food and conversation.
