“ The Talking stage “ 😱

2025/2/23 Edited to

... Read moreThe talking stage can often feel ambiguous, leaving many to wonder if there should be a time limit. Communication during this phase plays a vital role in determining relationship progression. While some suggest that a few weeks might suffice, others believe that three to six months allows for deeper connections to form. Factors such as individual readiness, previous relationship experiences, and emotional availability can all influence how couples navigate this stage. Understanding when to transition to an official relationship requires open dialogue about each partner's expectations and feelings. It's essential to address any worries or hesitations to ensure that both individuals are on the same page. Reflecting on questions like, “What are we to each other?” or “Do we have shared goals?” can guide you through this often uncharted territory. Remember, every relationship is unique, and the journey through the talking stage should prioritize mutual comfort and clarity.

I think it should have a limit. But idk if it should be like a hard stop like I’ll give this person 2 weeks. I met my boyfriend on an app in a city I didn’t live in a month before I moved there so our talking stage was a month long before our 1st date, which made the 1st date feel a lot more comfortable.

In my opinion no it’s up you and the person you are talking to. If you think they are your person, plus you are really into them and they are genuine then you can decide from there. You guys are on your time line.
