@Fashion Preview
Attending Collection 26 was an eye-opening experience that truly highlighted the vibrant future of Quebec’s fashion scene. There was an undeniable energy as each graduate brought their own style and narrative to the runway. What stood out most to me was the meticulous attention to detail in every garment — from the fabric choices to the daring cuts and layering techniques. It felt like watching a story unfold with each model that walked the stage. In my own fashion journey, I’ve learned that innovation often stems from fearless experimentation. Watching these students embrace new materials and sustainable practices reaffirmed my belief in the importance of creativity combined with responsibility. The diverse universes they created showed that fashion is not just clothing, but a powerful form of storytelling that can challenge norms and celebrate identity. One remarkable aspect was seeing how these emerging designers balance artistic vision with technical skill, a testament to the excellent training at Cégep Marie-Victorin. It convinced me that nurturing young talent with supportive platforms like this runway is vital to keeping local fashion vibrant and competitive. For anyone passionate about fashion, events like Collection 26 offer not only inspiration but also hope for a future where innovation drives the industry forward.
