Now that we’ve had our moment of silence… Lagos Fashion Week had me replaying looks just to catch all the details. The craftsmanship is unreal, and the creativity? Off the charts. 🇳🇬

I loved seeing how designers brought traditional elements into sculptural runway looks, right alongside pieces I could see myself wearing tomorrow.

These are a few of the looks that made me stop and rewind. I discovered designers I’m excited to keep up with.

A hand holds 'My Darling Dreadful Thing' by Johanna Van Veen, rated 5 stars. The book is described as hauntingly atmospheric and gothic sapphic horror.

Should You Read These Popular Horror Books? 😟

As a newer reader to the horror genre (really mainly started reading more horror this year), I have actually read a decent number of horror books and when I saw the horror book section at Barnes & Noble, I thought it would be fun to share my thoughts and ratings on some of the more popular ones

A laptop displaying online course materials, including 'Quiz: Week 2' and 'Essay 1: Final Draft,' sits on a desk next to a clear cup with an amber drink. An overlay text reads 'Finishing College at 22 years old,' reflecting the article's theme of returning to education.

Too Old For college?🤨📚

For starters I graduated in 2020. Hated it. Everything was online even after we were allowed back outside. Professors were a$$holes and I had no time for that so I dropped out. I was supposed to go to the Navy after but I chickened out. I’ve been working and traveling ever since, but if I want a gr

Why I chose to NOT give birth in a hospital!

This is the third in my little series, (1) my natural birth story and (2) why I chose to give birth naturally. This time, I’ll describe my reasons for planning to birth OUTSIDE a hospital (I would’ve chosen home, but my husband was a bit nervous so an independent birthing center was a perfect in-b

5 SIGNS YOU NEED TO MOVE ON 😖

#datingtips I've been in a relationship where I absolutely knew the end was coming. I could see it, but I didn't want to admit it. One of the main reason I knew it was near was because of the signs I saw that JUST. KEPT. HAPPENING. We fought all the time, and we each fought to

iOS 18! Let’s talk about it!

Every time there’s a new iOS, it does something to my little heart, I start planning in my head how I’m going to use new features to help me not only become more productive at my job or tasks, but also become a better me. I’ll be adding how I plan to use these features at work and or better myself.
