Noticing the daisies 🌼

This year, for the first time, I’ve really started noticing daisies.

Not because they suddenly appeared—but because I finally slowed down enough to see them.

It’s funny how life works like that. Sometimes the most beautiful things have been quietly surrounding us all along, waiting for us to lift our eyes, take a breath, and pay attention.

Daisies aren’t loud or extravagant. They don’t compete for attention. They simply bloom where they’re planted, bringing beauty to ordinary places.

Maybe that’s why they’ve been speaking to my heart lately.

They’ve become a reminder that joy doesn’t always arrive in grand moments. Sometimes it looks like wildflowers growing along the roadside, a quiet morning, or a simple bouquet picked from your own yard.

This season, I’m choosing to slow down and notice the daisies. 🌼

What have you started noticing lately that was there all along?

... Read moreSometimes, in the hustle and bustle of daily life, we miss the quiet wonders that surround us. Like the daisies the author noticed, many small details go unseen simply because we are moving too fast or caught up in our routines. From my own experience, choosing to slow down has transformed how I see the world and my sense of wellbeing. When I began practicing mindfulness and slow living, I found myself more attuned to nature—the gentle sway of grass, the soft colors of flowers like daisies, and the simple freshness of air during a morning walk. These moments, though subtle, brought me a deep sense of peace and grounding. The daisies, often overlooked in favor of flashier blooms, seemed to symbolize resilience and quiet beauty thriving in unexpected places. Incorporating this perspective into everyday life can be as simple as taking breaks from screens, enjoying a cup of tea outside, or noticing the changing seasons in your garden or neighborhood. The practice of noticing what’s around us fosters gratitude and can reduce stress. It reminds us that joy does not always come from grand accomplishments but can be found in the ordinary and overlooked. If you find yourself feeling rushed or disconnected, I encourage you to take a moment to 'notice the daisies'—whether literal or metaphorical. Slow down, breathe, and let these small, beautiful signs of life refresh your spirit. This mindful approach not only enhances our appreciation for nature but also deepens our connection to ourselves and the present moment. Through embracing slow living and simple joys, we can cultivate a more balanced, fulfilling life.

life feels lighter when you start noticing this..
I think we spend so much time chasing “big happiness” that we forget life is usually built from tiny moments. Not every beautiful thing announces itself loudly. Sometimes it’s just: * the sunset * the music * the laughter * the quiet * the feeling that maybe… things are getting better

Four fragrance products are displayed on a countertop, including a pink lotion tube and a pink body mist labeled 'Pink Obsessed'. Also present are a black oil bottle for 'Velvet Blossom' and a textured clear bottle for 'Valentino', showcasing a scent layering combination.
The Scent Combo Everyone’s Noticing🩷
Soft florals, a touch of sweetness, and the perfect hint of confidence. I’ve been obsessed with pairing Pink Obsessed with Valentino Born in Roma lately — it’s feminine without feeling overdone. What’s your go-to layering combo right now? #valentinoperfume #layeringcombo #layeringcom

Wild Daisies Photo dump 🫶
Kinda perfect day with the best crew. Shot in a field, danced like no one was judging (they were, I lost). Big love to everyone who made magic outta sun and sweat. ❤️ ✨ Oh, and if you’re worried about Sammy the sandwich… he had it coming. Trying so hard to be all triangley—pfft. #PhotoDum

17 Signs You’re Entering a New Season of Life (without noticing)
Sometimes life doesn’t shift loudly… It shifts quietly. In your thoughts. In your priorities. In what you no longer tolerate. In what no longer feels right. You start craving peace over noise. Clarity over confusion. Purpose over comfort. And even though it feels uncomfortable…

3 Ways You Start Pulling Away Without Noticing
Pulling away doesn’t always look obvious. It doesn’t always show up as distance or silence right away. Sometimes it looks like: not sharing small things, taking longer to respond, or avoiding conversations you know you need to have. Not because you don’t care. But because connection

Am I the only one noticing this lately?
People nowadays really act like the world owes them something 😭 Whatever happened to patience, accountability, and basic respect? It’s okay to want better for yourself, but entitlement and confidence are NOT the same thing #Lemon8Diary #RealTalk #Entitlement #Adulting #LifeThoughts

#3 gets most believers without them even noticing
1. Distraction – He’ll keep you busy, unfocused, or always “too tired” to pray or read the Word. 2. Deception – Twisting truth to make lies sound logical (just like in Eden). 3. Division – Causing offense, comparison, gossip, and relational strife to break unity. 4.

No fixing. No pressure. Just noticing
Losing yourself doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like being patient. Being flexible. Being the one who keeps things together. Until one day… life still looks the same on the outside but inside, something feels missing. And resentment doesn’t always show up as anger. t s

That Strange Kind Of Tired Women Start Noticing
Lately I’ve been hearing the same thing from a lot of women. “I’m tired… but not the normal kind of tired.” Not from staying up late. Just that feeling where your energy is lower during the day. For me it showed up in small ways. • afternoon crashes • needing more caffeine • waking up

The secret isn't reading more... it's noticing more. ✨
I used to feel like I wasn't doing enough unless I read multiple chapters. Now I focus on slowing down, highlighting verses that stand out, and reflecting on what I'm reading. It's made Bible study feel so much more meaningful. 💛 ✨️LINK IN BIO✨️ #BibleStudy #BibleJournaling #
