Korean Street Toast 🇰🇷🍞🥚

Korean Gilgeori Toast (길거리 토스트), also known as "street toast," is a popular Korean street food sandwich. It's essentially a sweet and savory treat filled with a delightful combination of cabbage, carrots, and green onions, topped with ham and cheese, ketchup, mayo, and a sprinkle of sugar. I fell in love with this sandwich on my trip to South Korea.

5-6 oz green cabbage, shredded

2 Tbsp onions, sliced thin

2 green onions, sliced diagonally

1 -2 Tbsp carrots, small dice

1/4 tsp salt

1 extra large egg

*Add ingredients to a bowl. Beat until frothy and cabbage starts to break down.

* Add 1-2 Tbsp vegetable oil or butter to a heated small pan over medium-high heat. Pour mixture into the pan and spread evenly.

*Lower heat to medium-low. Cover with a lid and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook an additional 4-5 minutes.
