Soon as you walk in and see them iconic red bar stools, you already know this ain’t one of them copy-and-paste spots trying to act “vintage” for the aesthetic. Nah, this is the real thing. Nick’s has been here since 1929, right there at the corner of Main and Fifth, and you can feel every bit of that old-school energy the second you sit down.

And the food? Yeah, they got their own lane for real. These ain’t big goofy overbuilt burgers trying too hard… these are them legendary two-ounce mini burgers that come out on wax paper, and somehow that makes the whole experience hit even harder. No fries either, which honestly makes the place even more solid because they know exactly what they are and they stand on it. You pull up, pick a number, run through these burgers, and before you know it you’re already thinking about one more. Then when you add in the homemade pie, old-fashioned shakes, and the fact the burgers are made to order with fresh, never-frozen beef on homemade buns, it all makes sense why this place has lasted this long.
