Homemade Hot Cocoa Recipe

Skip the packets and make your hot cocoa from scratch, it’s easy! Here’s the recipe:

- Heat up your pot on medium/low heat

- Add 1.5 cups of milk

- After milk is warm, stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate (I use dark!)

- Stir and combine a pinch of salt and cinnamon

- Stir and combine 2tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder and 2tbsp of sugar

- mix in a separate container 1tbsp of cornstarch and 2tbsp of water

- slowly mix in the cornstarch slurry you just made

- top off with marshmallows, peppermint, or your choice of topping! Enjoy!
