Wow, if you're an Osmosis Jones fan like me, you absolutely NEED to dive into 'Osmosis Jones 2 LoveSick Part 2'! I've been following this webcomic, and let me tell you, the story just keeps getting wilder. After the first part hinted at so much, this second installment really brings Thrax back with a bang – though not exactly how he planned! The OCR images gave me chills! We see Thrax, who we all thought was gone for good, severely injured. But guess what? A mysterious, green-skinned woman finds him and regenerates him after he falls into some strange chemical. She even *edits his genome*! Can you believe it? This immediately raises so many questions about who she is and what her intentions are. She threatens him but then, shockingly, gives him one of her DNA chains, hinting that 'humans have strayed and must be stopped.' This new 'female virus' character is a total game-changer. It’s not just about Thrax anymore; there's a whole new level of viral politics at play! What I found really interesting is how Thrax reacts. Even after being revived and empowered, he’s still got Jones on his mind and is furious about his lost DNA chain. But this new woman’s generosity and her grand plans for humanity seem to throw him off. From the looks of it, he's standing on a ruined cityscape, contemplating a glowing orb, and his minions are confused about why he's not happier after all the destruction. It looks like Thrax is going through some serious character development, or at least a major re-evaluation of his goals. He's not just the 'big daddy Thrax' we knew; he's more complex now, grappling with this new competition and the scale of her ambition. The comic also delves into the challenges of being a destructive pathogen. One of his minions even expresses discomfort about killing humans and the inability to fly freely. Thrax agrees that 'something feels off' and decides it's time to 'visit an old friend.' Who could that be? My money's on a reluctant reunion with Jones, or perhaps a trip to the 'Human Neural Network' for some intel. The idea of Thrax flying out of a human mouth into a stormy night sky, complaining about the weather and sharing the spotlight with this new female virus, is just too good. He's clearly annoyed by her presence and vows to show her 'how things are done' – pure Thrax! The action sequences are intense too! Thrax gets struck by a powerful bolt of lightning, screaming in pain, and then he falls, seeing a human couple with a baby. This moment of confusion after the pain, followed by news about the CDC tracking a virus, really makes you wonder. Is it him they're tracking, or the new female virus? Thrax realizing this new virus presents 'competition for fame' and planning to 'fight dirty' to stake his claim in 'medical history' is absolutely brilliant. It takes the typical cartoon villain trope and gives it a fresh, competitive twist within the 'germs' universe. This comic, 'Osmosis Jones 2 LoveSick,' is doing an amazing job expanding the lore. It gives us prequels for the main cast (which I'm dying to see more of!) and introduces genuinely threatening, other-worldly pathogens that put Thrax in a 'rock and a hard place.' If you loved the original 'Osmosis Jones' movie and are looking for a mature, engaging sequel comic, you have to check this out. It's a fantastic continuation, full of drama, action, and surprising twists!
