The primary focus of my page is art, but may include fishing and nature posts as well as mental health posts and cosplay. Hey everyone, I've been so passionate about the world of Osmosis Jones for ages, and finally getting to share my fan comic series, Lovesick, feels incredible! It's been a true labor of love bringing this vision to life, especially getting to explore new facets of this amazing universe. For Part 1 of Osmosis Jones Lovesick, I really wanted to create an epic origin story that hooks you right from the start. Imagine explorers stumbling upon ancient ruins, only to uncover a mysterious glowing green artifact. This isn't just any relic; it's the catalyst for an incredible awakening. That moment when the monkey shatters it, unleashing a burst of energy, sets the stage for something truly spectacular and terrifying. My Dragon OC emerges from this energy – a green-skinned, horned female figure who quickly transforms into a massive, black and green dragon-like creature. Designing her mutagenesis from a humanoid form to such a powerful beast was one of the most exciting parts! She declares, 'Free at last!' and 'I'm back!', hinting at a deep, ancient past within the body. This Osmosis Jones OC is central to the unfolding drama, bringing a new level of power and mystery to the internal world we know. And speaking of powerful forces, the details hint at a menacing black and green virus – Thrax himself, sensing other pathogens and a "lethal, impressive work" virus. This comic delves into the potential origins or resurgence of such formidable foes, tying into the broader Osmosis Jones lore. You'll see the widespread impact, from anomalies detected in brain scans to a terrifying scene in a hospital where a man transforms into a zombie-like creature, attacking a flight attendant. The panic and fear spread, indicating a serious threat that even the mayor needs to be alerted about. The classic battle between disease and defense is amplified, with white blood cells facing off against these new, powerful viruses, reminiscent of Thrax fighting a white blood cell. Creating the detailed visuals for each comic strip has been a fascinating challenge. I draw inspiration from all sorts of places, including my love for intricate tattoo designs and monster art, to make sure these creatures and transformations are as impactful as possible. It's not just about the action; it's about the deep dive into this world, from the heart of the body's defenses to the potentially deceptive illusion of safety.
