The Poetic Heart 💞In The Secret Place
🕊️ In Your Face, I Found Me
In the mirror of Your gaze,
The shadows of the years dissolve.
The twenty-year desert, the silent storage,
The "why" that once felt like a wound—
It all vanishes in the light of Your eyes.
I searched for "Trinity" in the world’s noise,
But she was hidden in the curvature of Your smile.
I looked for my dignity in the hands of men,
But it was held in the scars of my Best Friend-Jesus
In the secret closure, where the walls breathe Your name,
The search has ended.
I am no longer a seeker; I am a reflection.
The girl who dreamed of the purple attire
Has become the woman standing in Your Kratos.
In Your face, I found me.
And in finding me, I finally found Home.
Thank Father David E.Taylor for the heavy price you paid. THERE'S NO US WITHOUT YOU!-SELAH!!!

This piece beautifully captures the essence of a personal spiritual journey—a theme that resonates deeply with many seeking meaning beyond life's noise. From my own experience, moments of reflection and prayer have served as pivotal turning points, helping me dissolve the shadows of doubt and confusion. Just like the author’s mention of a "twenty-year desert," spiritual deserts are often seasons of testing and growth that ultimately bring clarity and peace when faced honestly. What stood out to me was the transformative power of seeing oneself "In Your Face," symbolizing looking into the eyes of God or a higher power. This encounter can reveal our true selves beyond external validations or struggles. It reminds me of times I found comfort not in worldly achievements or human approvals, but in embracing my spirituality and connection to faith, which held my dignity and worth even in the hardest times. The poem’s acknowledgment of Father David E. Taylor and the mention of making a physical altar highlight the significance of community and tangible expressions of faith. Small rituals like altars serve as daily reminders that anchor our spiritual walk. They can be a source of solace and strength, reinforcing that we are not alone in our journeys. For those walking similar paths, this piece encourages embracing the ultimate destination—knowing and accepting our true selves in the divine presence, which brings a profound sense of home and belonging. It’s a call to shift from seeking externally to reflecting internally, finding peace in that divine reflection. In practical terms, I recommend creating your own sacred space—even a small corner with meaningful objects or symbols—and dedicate time daily to pause, reflect, and connect with your inner self and higher power. This simple act can deepen your spiritual journey and mirror the transformative experiences shared in the article.
