Over the past year, my fitness journey has been a real eye-opener. One key thing I've learned is that what you eat truly impacts your progress—clean, balanced meals have helped me feel stronger and recover faster. I also switched up my cardio by replacing running with incline walking, and that change surprised me. Incline walking feels gentler on the joints yet still challenges the cardiovascular system effectively, making it sustainable for me. Weight lifting, however, has been the real game-changer. It’s amazing how becoming consistent with lifting a few times a week can drastically increase muscle tone and strength. Plus, it’s empowering to see each small gain. I work out at Planet Fitness, a place that has helped me stay motivated and consistent. I often remind myself that fitness isn’t about perfection but progress. Even at 35, transformation is very much possible with the right combination of diet, walking, and weight training. I’m still learning, but this journey taught me patience and the importance of celebrating every milestone, big or small.
