I used to care about the numbers.

Now I care about the assignment.

If this reaches one person who needed it today… it was worth posting.

Obedience over popularity.

#faith #vessel

2/20 Edited to

... Read moreIn my journey, I've often found myself caught up in the allure of popularity and approval, constantly checking numbers and external validation. However, over time, I realized that these fleeting measures couldn’t fulfill my deeper purpose. True satisfaction came when I shifted my focus from seeking likes or followers to fulfilling the meaningful assignment I believe I was given. The phrase "obedience over popularity" became a powerful reminder that living according to one’s values and faith holds greater weight than any social approval. It's about being a vessel for something bigger than ourselves — a commitment to integrity and purpose that isn’t swayed by the crowd. Sharing this perspective has been transformative for me. When I prioritize obedience—be it in faith, personal goals, or moral principles—I experience a sense of peace and direction that I never found chasing popularity. Even if my message reaches just one person who needed it that day, it makes the effort worthwhile. This mindset encourages us to evaluate what truly matters. It’s a call to focus on our assignments—whether that’s nurturing relationships, contributing to our communities, or simply staying true to our beliefs—rather than measuring success by external metrics. Embracing obedience over popularity is a journey and not always easy in a world driven by numbers and social proof. Yet, it redefines what success means, grounding it in faith and purpose that withstand the test of time and trends.
