Me vs Me: Becoming a Runner

Out the door by 6am today—who is she?! Took some PTO to soak up a long weekend with my little crew. Didn’t forget my mace this time, and happy to report: zero fox sightings.

Squeezed in a 20-minute morning run and later got in even more movement with my father-in-law in town. We walked to pick up Oliver from school (30 mins round trip), then hit the trails again post-lunch—me, Oliver, my FIL, and my brother-in-law scanning plants like little botanists. We tried to guess what was native and what wasn’t. It lasted an hour and honestly felt like a dreamy little nature documentary.
