Always working on creating something 🎨

Some days my brain gets completely overloaded with “adult life” stuff… so I go back to making things with my hands.

Today that meant painting little vessels and taking photos of them for the first time. Nothing fancy, just documenting the process while I figure out what I’m doing.

Still experimenting with colors, doodles, and ideas… but honestly this has been such a calming creative outlet lately.

Sometimes you just need a slow day, a few paint markers, and a tiny jar. 🌿✨ #creativeprocess

... Read moreWhen life gets overwhelming, I’ve found that engaging in a hands-on creative activity can be incredibly calming. Painting small vessels, like tiny jars, is one of those simple yet effective ways to refocus my energy and clear mental clutter. The process doesn’t have to be perfect — it’s more about the act itself and the mindful attention it brings. Using a few paint markers, I like to experiment with different colors and doodles without any pressure to create a masterpiece. This freedom to just play with hues and shapes sparks ideas and keeps me present in the moment. Taking photos of my progress also helps me appreciate the small steps and evolution of my work, which adds an extra layer of satisfaction. Creative outlets like this have become a form of art therapy for me, offering a break from the constant rush of adult responsibilities. It reminds me to slow down and find joy in simple things. Plus, the cozy atmosphere I create around my little art sessions makes the experience even more inviting — sometimes just a quiet nook or a warm cup of tea alongside my tiny painted jars is enough to recharge my spirit. For anyone feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I recommend giving a similar craft a try. You don’t need fancy supplies or advanced skills. Just grab some paint markers and small objects to decorate, and allow yourself to experiment without judgment. This small practice can open a door to relaxation and creative expression that feeds your well-being. It’s proof that even the smallest art projects can have a big impact on your mental health.
