BACK STORY!

I seen this AI video on my page and I’m like, what the heck? So the next day I go to Walmart for a totally different reason, I look to my right and see the exact same thing that I had just watched the night before. I’m like, bro… I have to make a video about this because I did not know Walmart would ever stoop so low. 😂😂😂

And the lady at Walmart — Not the younger girl, but the older lady. She has been a part of my content since 2020. I used to go to Walmart every single day and run and scream in there and they used to let me.😂😂 I appreciate it lol

But anyways, back to the pig.

I don’t think that y’all would ever make this at all, but in case you do want to try it, I’m still dropping the recipe down below.

🔪 3. PREP BEFORE COOKING

You have two options:

• Leave the whole head intact

• Split it in half (butcher can do this)

Splitting is easier because:

• Faster cooking

• More even seasoning

• Easier to pull meat

Brush or rub the head with:

• Salt

• Black pepper

• Your preferred seasonings. (Listed in video

🔥 ROASTING (crispy crackling skin + tender meat)

This is for presentation or tacos.

Step-by-step:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

2. Place head on a roasting rack in a large pan.

3. Rub with seasoning

4. Cover with foil for the first 2 hours.

5. Remove foil and increase heat to 375°F.

6. Roast 1–1.5 more hours until the skin is crispy.

Total time: 3–3.5 hours

For extra crisp:

Glaze: Honey, seasoning, paprika

Broil the skin for 2–3 minutes at the end — don’t walk away. Watch it close

Another thing I learned is most of the time people buy these to make tacos and it’s mostly for presentation. But another reason too is the head is used to make hog head cheese.

My grandmother used to buy hog head cheese all the time, and I literally haven’t had it in years, let alone made it from scratch. I’m very interested in buying another head and experimenting with that if that’s something y’all want to see.
