BABY STUFF TO SPEND ON VS SAVE ON

I feel like I was so overwhelmed when trying to make my baby registry because I didn’t know what I really needed or not as a first time mom and people were always telling me more and more stuff I needed.

So here are my biggest must haves and things that I didn’t find super necessary in my experience!

... Read moreCreating the perfect baby registry is crucial for new parents, but it can often feel overwhelming. With countless products marketed for babies, selecting what truly matters becomes a daunting task. When pondering what to invest in versus what can be skipped, consider significant factors like safety, comfort, and practicality. Let's dive deeper into what items are typically worth spending on. A top-quality foam-changing pad, for instance, is easy to clean and provides comfort for both the baby and parents. Investing in a high chair that’s easy to wipe down after meals can save time and hassle as your baby begins to explore solids. Additionally, breathable sheets for the crib not only ensure your baby's comfort but can also promote better sleep. On the flip side, not everything needs to be top-shelf. Many parents find that regular towels are absorbent enough, and luxurious fabric baby towels may be unnecessary. Similarly, expensive swings or bouncers can often be replaced by more economical versions that serve the same purpose, especially since babies grow out of them quickly. As a new parent, assess your lifestyle and needs carefully. Some items might seem essential based on trends or recommendations but might not fit your specific situation. Take the time to research and engage with fellow parents’ experiences, as this will help demystify the baby-buying journey. The key is to balance your budget with genuine necessity, ultimately leading to a thoughtful approach to your baby's needs.
