Dysregulated → your nervous system is in survival mode, your body is storing stress

Rest fixes tired. Regulation fixes dysregulated.

Additionally, paying close attention to signs of dysregulation, such as evening crashes or brain fog during the day, made me realize that traditional rest wasn’t addressing the root cause. Instead, techniques that promote regulation—like grounding exercises, spending time in nature, or even seeking professional guidance on nervous system health—proved much more effective. If you’re experiencing persistent exhaustion despite getting enough rest, it’s important to consider how stress impacts your nervous system. Healing isn’t just about resting more but about learning to regulate and reset your system so your body can truly recover and regain energy. This insight can be empowering and lead to a more sustainable path to wellness.
