When covid first hit and the world went wild, I lost all motivation. Felt like there was no future in what I was doing. My manager told me, “no matter how dark it gets, you gotta keep creating—people need it.” I see a lot of emotions online today. Some people upset, some not. We all gotta stay hopeful, keep creating, work together and push toward a better future for all of us. World needs more positivity…. Btw some pants I made for a friend the other day. Gonna do more with this idea soon.

... Read moreNavigating the emotional landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic has been a unique challenge for many creative individuals and communities. It’s natural to feel unmotivated and question the future in such uncertain times, but as shared in the experience above, the key is resilience through creativity. The advice to ‘keep creating’ despite hardships underscores how important art and self-expression are—not just for personal fulfillment, but for society’s collective well-being. The message captured in the image’s OCR text resonates deeply with this ethos. It encourages staying true to your own dreams and expectations rather than conforming to imposed roles or societal pressures. This authenticity is crucial as it fuels meaningful creation and joy. Being genuine in your creative work helps to forge a path that feels fulfilling and purposeful, which is especially vital when external circumstances seem overwhelming. Additionally, the hashtags #bancsta, #screenprinter, #jeans, and #screenprint highlight the specialized craft of screen printing on jeans—an art form that combines fashion, fabrication, and personal storytelling. Crafting garments with unique prints can be a powerful outlet for creativity and a way to connect with friends and communities. Handmade fashion pieces carry stories and emotions, making each item a testament to perseverance and positive expression. As communities, we need to foster environments that support ongoing creativity. Whether it’s making art, designing clothes, or sharing hopeful messages, these actions contribute to a positive cycle of encouragement and motivation. By staying hopeful, creating together, and supporting one another's dreams, we collectively move toward a better future. The world thrives on the authentic spirit and joy that come from living true to one’s own purpose, which ultimately inspires others to do the same.

This is in NO way glamorizing teen pregnancy. If anything the complete opposite. I love my girl, and I’ve even had another baby since then. But this was HARD. It still is HARD. In my mind I was so grown, and now I look back and know I was still such a baby. I had no choice but to grow up fast. Th
